PowerColor Launches 'Go! Green HD7750' for Tree Huggers and Silent Computing Enthusiasts

If you're losing sleep at night because you feel as though your choices in computer hardware are offensive to Mother Nature, you might be a candidate for TUL Corporation's PowerColor Go! Green HD7750 graphics card. Armed with a totally silent cooling solution with no moving parts (passive), the Go! Green card won't pollute your living quarters with unnecessary noise or consume as much power a fan-based (active) reference cooler.

Will using the Go! Green HD7750 save the planet and reverse global warming, assuming it exists (Hey look, an opened can of worms!)? No, it won't. But it will run silent, use slightly less juice, and perform just as well as any other Radeon HD 7750 graphics card with the same reference clockspeeds (800MHz core and 1GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 1,125MHz on a 128-bit bus).

"Furthermore, [the PowerColor Go! Green HD7750 is] packed with the ultra-efficient AMD ZeroCore Power technology which allows the GPU to consume virtually no power when in idle mode," UL claims. "More than that, gamers should be satisfied with AMD's PowerTune technology, it allows the intelligent power monitoring to enable higher clock speeds and better performance when needed, delivering the most efficient way for gaming like never before."

Sounds splendid. All that's left are details regarding price and availability, none of which were yet provided.
