Post-Rapture Website Emails Those "Left Behind"
For just $40 a year, believers can arrange for up to 62 people to get a final message exactly six days after the Rapture, that day when -- according to Christian end times dogma -- Christians will be swept up to heaven, while doubters are left behind to suffer seven years of Tribulation under a global government headed by the Antichrist.
"You've Been Left Behind gives you one last opportunity to reach your lost family and friends for Christ," reads the website, which is purportedly run "by Christians, for Christians." The domain name is registered through an anonymous proxy service, presumably to protect the proprietors from the Forces of Darkness, and not because they're up to anything shady.
Nice tongue-in-cheekness via Wired. Our question is: will there be any power running those servers if all "hell" (pun intended) breaks loose?

Lol, wow, that's quite a scheme. Not a terrible idea, but $40 a year? And how will the system know to set itself off? I'm assuming that all the people running it will disappear as well. It would be un-Christian like to assume that unsaved people would be running the servers. It might be a sort of dead man's switch, now that I think about it. |

Ok that's just ridiculous. Even if you are a true Christian believer, why would you want to rub it in people's faces, and have to spend money to do so? It doesn't sound like something a good Christian would want to do. |

Funny thing is, that can qualify as PRIDE which is one of the deadly sins. And if the last act of your earthly self is to commit a prideful act, and you don't have a chance to confess and pray to be forgiven for that sin before you 'die', well, pack some shorts 'cause you're going somewhere VERY WARM! |
