Possible Release Dates For Galaxy Nexus, RAZR, Rezound Slip Out

We already know there are a number of smartphones that should be available before the end of the year. If we had to make a guess, we'd say most of these phones will come out before the holiday season. If a leaked product listing on Android Central is to be believed, we don't have to guess about release dates.

The posting suggests we'll see the newly announced Motorola Droid RAZR coming as early as this week—October 27 to be more exact. Shortly thereafter, on November 10, Verizon Wireless will supposedly release the HTC Rezound and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. All three new phones are expected to be available for about $300 with a contract.

Will November 10 be the day when we'll finally get our hands on Ice Cream Sandwich? Time will tell, but one thing is certain: we're very excited for all of these phones to launch.

Update 10/24/2011: A knowledgeable source has informed us that these dates aren't completely correct. It appears the October 27 date for the Motorola RAZR will be the pre-order date. Also, the Galaxy Nexus has slipped and probably won't be available as soon as we hoped.

"More excited for the Droid RAZR, I guess having been a prior owner of the first generation has a lot to do with it."

I don't know out of these the Razr would probably be the one I was excited about as well. The thing with the newest Nexus that gets me is really the same with all of them. While they are unlocked Google phones and that is really a good thing, for some reason since the initial, and even to some degree on the initial hardware is/was comparable, but not really anything special compared to the rest of the market. Like this one yes the screen has a true HD rez but instead of using Samsung's awesome + screen they just stick with the regular. This basically means there just stretching pixels. While would love to have ICS I am sure I will get it with my Sensation and probably before to long and my QHS screen is pretty much as good as what is on this one. Not to mention my CPU is readily over clockable to 1.5 where it is used (same exact chip) at that ratio commercially and I have also tried it out at that ratio on mine personally. I also know for a fact we will see quad core by CES and widespread on many phones prior to MWC. CES is basically 2 months from now and I know the tegra3 units will be out by then, by MWC all the initial quads will be out!

Plus I bought a Sensation the day prior to there commercial release on T-Mobile as well. SO while I could upgrade now it is more feasible a little ways down the road. Not to mention I can get a functional Beats ROM from XDA right now (and have but on the last build it disables Wifi which is kind of crucial for me as no carrier Verizon included have a good signal in my house) so I will grab the next one (which auto oc's the cpu to 1.5 anyway).
