PNY Graphics Cards To Ship With Asetek Cooling Solutions

Asetek and cooling, two names that seem to always go together. Now, you can add a third: PNY. That company has teamed up with Asetek in order to "revolutionize" graphics card liquid cooling, with the goal to deliver liquid-cooled, high-end graphics cards that far outperform equivalent air cooled models graphically, thermally and acoustically. The resulting extreme performance PNY graphics cards will come out-of-the box with an Asetek sealed water cooler already attached, making the solution very simple to install, maintenance-free and extremely reliable.

In other words, PNY will be using Asetek's heralded cooling solutions on their own cards, and we're guessing Asetek won't be satisfied with just one company doing as much. It's highly likely that the outfit here won't be the last; the question is: who is next?

oh hey now ! yeah baby ! not too long ago this thread was quite lively and deservedly so

& Now that cat's outta the bag and the card is in the the wild  Yes

most likely some more will be doing the same

way to Go Asetek and Pony Smile

Imagine everything we said in the older thread, then add excitement in how this is finally going to be released into the wild.

Nuff' said.

this is really awesome for a nice 1 card system. sli or crossfire - forget about it.

Interesting, honestly ive never heard of Asetek. And while ive heard of PNY ive never bought one of their graphics products. Maybe hot hardware can get a hold of one of these cards when they start coming out and give us an idea of performance?

why dont they just sell gpu brackets for their cpu coolers? other than the onboard memory and such need attention too, but that's mostly for extreme-er OC'in. And if that's the case, you're probably better off with a custom loop with a better waterblock/rad/etc.

I like the idea of these closed loop systems but if you want to water cool every possible component you certainly could not do it this way. I would like to see some good quality semi-custom water cooling systems.

And again that this is finally out, its time to work on closed loop motherboard chip coolers :D lol.

Omegadraco, is is possibleto have the full system cooled with closed loops, just that you need more room for the radiators :D

Probably should not have said "Could not" you are right it can be done. But I don't think I know anyone with a radiator for the CPU and 2 more for a SLI/Crossfire setup.

I would like to see how they plan to integrate this with two liquid cooled graphics cards and liquid cooled processor in a gaming case. Definitely can expect increases in performance and lower temperatures if we can take that last thread as any indication.

This reminds me of those immersion PC's I saw awhile ago where they stick all the components in mineral oil or something to that effect. Although I've never seen any reviews or heard much after so I have no clue how well that works. It is amazing some of the things people come up with.

I'm guessing they can place them side by side... I mean PC cases these days have tons of fan slots you can mount your cooler on right?

That would be completely cool if they are able to do that on the next generations of Quadros', even more so if they can do it to fit along side with the Teslas in SLI?

That is some serious power you are talking about! A closed-loop quadro would own, not sure if there is a large enough market for that though. Have you used anything with a tesla in it?

I remember reading about this card earlier too, awesome it's finally out and about; can't wait to see some benches and temps.
