I thought LGA1366 and LGA2011 sockets were compatible with coolers, guess not. Anyway it's nice that Noctua cooler owners are getting free sockets. From what I've seen they're large and from what I've read they cool efficiently. I don't know if it'll fit in my case but still, they're good. |

"Noctua is a high-end Australian company" correction--> Noctua is a high-end AUSTRIAN company. Plz corret it, so that wrong information should not reach to the other readers. |

Argh. I remember going to Austria and seeing T-shirts emblazoned with: "There are no kangaroos in AUSTRIA." Sorry for the mixup. |

This is good practice,.....and it makes good sense too. After reading this, I'll certainly see Noctua in a better light. Taking good care of your customers is always the best course. |

You are absolutely right neil ! very good for Noctua to take of it's customers and provide the upgrade brackets.Be interesting to see just how many higher end coolers manufacturers allow such as simple and sensible solution for the loyal customers that already may have invested $80 + bucks or more in aftermarket cooling ..On a another note I do recall seeing some kangaroos in Chicago but not in recent memory in Crystal Lake..oh well good stuff . |
Lots of Cougars though,....... |

Yeah! I read all what it had on their retail boxed cpu coolers and at one time it did have that Australia and Austria did have some kind of tech partnership going on. Also I think that it was based in victoria, Australia. The partnersip tech thing that is and not the main company. |
