My guess is it will contain all of the above HD, 3D capability and motion controls of some sort. But only time will tell when it comes to Nintendo I am always interested :) |
|
^ I agree. HD is the standard now, it would be a huge mistake not to have it and it seems everything is coming out with 3D capabilities these days. Do you think they will do the usual Nintendo trend and create a new format for games? |
|
@Drake Games by download only? Games On Demand?.... late 2012 who knows |
|
IDK why, but i don't like Nintendo because they have no good games. Its more of a family console then a GAMERS console :D |
They don't really market to the gamer. They are marketing to the larger masses that don't game that often, or even at all, which is smart if you think about it. In my opinion the wii can't be compared to a 360 or a PS3, they are in their own ballpark. |

It's a cheaper system that everyone can afford. I know a ton of people who bought the system for netflix and wii fit. It's definitely not for the typical "gamer". But in my opinion nintendo has fun games. Not cool or BA games but most of them are still fun. It's a very great drinking device.......fun and cheap in case anything breaks. @omegadraco I bet they do come out with some sort of subscription or streaming based games. It could make for some interesting multiplayer games. |

My Wii has been sitting idle for a long time. Played some games when we first got it and then never played it again. Still, it's always interesting when a new console comes out. |

Amber my 13 year old will be interested she has a Wii, and plays with it all the time. As far as game maturity level though yes Nintendo sticks more with the family friendly titles. That is not really a bad thing though for them I am sure, with better prices and a focus in that direction I am sure they have more of a general audience. |

Well regardless of how HD and powerful the graphics are going to get, as long as it reaches 720p, that's a perfectly fine resolution for me on a 20-30inch Tv or Monitor, From other rumors and things I've read on the new console a three-core IBM PowerPC CPU similar to the Xbox 360′s is going to be powering the device Its also rumored that there will be 6 inch touch-screens and front mounted cameras integrated into a wii-like controller and this isnt such a far fetched claim because Nintendo has been known to make products that are the first of their kind (Wii, 3DS, etc.) and the screened controller would really just be a more refined version GBA Link of how you could play gameboy advanced games on the gamecube by connection your GBA to the GameCube, so maybe the 3D's will be able to be used a controller with Nintendos new console |

please let this console be more up to spec with other consoles, so it can finally get proper multiplatform games instead of "Wii versions" that are inferior |
