Jen-Hsun Huang states that hundreds of engineers are working on the next generation GPU, and when completed, over $2 billion dollars will have been spent on the R&D of Kepler. If that sounds exciting, then you'll love what's coming in 2013. The GPU codenamed Maxwell will use a 22nm fabrication process while promising copious amounts of compute performance, to the tune of sixteen times the performance of the current generation Tesla.
