NEC 24-inch MultiSync P241W Desktop Monitor Launches
NEC Display Solutions is on a roll this week; yesterday it announced the new 20-inch EX201W display, and now the 24-inch P241W desktop monitor is available, as well.
The first of the new MultiSync P-Series, the widescreen P241W is designed for Web graphics and photography with a wide-angle e-IPS panel. There’s also a version for the SpectraViewIIT series, the P241W-BK-SV, which features an optimized calibration sensor and SpectraViewII calibration software.
The street price for the MultiSync P241W looks to be $749, and the SpectraViewIIT version will drop at around $1249.

CHICAGO - September 2, 2011 - NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, announced today the first model in the new generation of the MultiSync® P Series with the 24-inch widescreen MultiSync P241W desktop monitor and added the P241W-BK-SV to the renowned SpectraViewIIT Series.
Ideal for web graphics and photography applications, the P241W utilizes an e-IPS panel for great imaging performance. This sRGB monitor offers users working in color-critical environments the opportunity to take advantage of professional-grade desktop display features without breaking budgets. Its widescreen real estate, USB hub with DisplaySync ProT and completely customizable Picture Modes greatly improve user productivity.
The P241W-BK-SV features hardware color calibration using the NEC SpectraView kit to deliver accurate color in a simple to use and affordable package. The kit, which is compatible with both Apple Mac and Microsoft Windows operating systems, includes an optimized calibration sensor based on the highly acclaimed X-Rite Eye-One Display2 and award-winning SpectraViewII calibration software.
