MSI Jumps on the 3D Bandwagon with CX620 Laptop
Buying into the 3D hype yet? MSI hopes so, which just announced its CX620 3D laptop with a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit screen. As with just about every current 3D device, you'll need to don a pair of special glasses to see all those effects Avatar made popular. And if you've ever wondered what all your 2D photos would look like with a third dimension thrown into the mix, MSI says its CX620 is plenty adept at converting 2D images into 3D.
Outside of all the 3D ballyhooing, the CX620 sports a fairly respectable feature-set built around Intel's Core i3/i5 platform. Other goodies include up to 8GB of DDR3-1066 memory, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 graphics, 320/600/640GB hard drive, DVD burner, a pair of dedicated USB 2.0 ports, a USB/eSATA combo port, 4-in-1 memory card reader, 1.4MP webcam, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, and a 6-cell battery.
