MS To Challenge Vista Capable Suit
The “Vista Capable” class action law suit we reported on earlier this month might be dead in the water before it even gets started:
“Friday, Microsoft petitioned the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to hear its challenge of the case's class-action status, which was granted two weeks ago by U.S. District Court Judge Marsha Pechman. The company also filed a separate motion with Pechman on Thursday, asking her to stay the lawsuit's proceedings pending the appeal.”

It seems like Microsoft is constantly defending itself against all sorts of lawsuits. As of July of 2005 the cumulative sum of Microsoft's lawsuit payouts had already reached over $9 billion, a figure which has risen substantially in the past few years I'm sure. Poor Microsoft appears to be the object of much resentment and jealousy. |

they are always paying fines and getting sued or something they have made good products like xp but it must not hurt the company too much i guess with bill gates being the third richest man in the world |
