Lenovo Introduces ThinkCentre M75e AMD-Based Desktops

Need a new tower for your desktop or workspace? Lenovo has a new one to consider. The ThinkCentre M75e Small Form Factor and ThinkCentre M75e Tower have just been announced, both of which are generally aimed at enterprise customers but could definitely work in just about any place of business, including your home office.

The M75e is the first of Lenovo's M Series platforms to use AMD processors (Athlon II and Phenom II), and both are designed to handle two displays right out of the box without a discrete GPU requirement. But, if you add the ATI Radeon HD 5450 (512 MB), the M75e can drive four displays. Lenovo has also tuned this machine to boot up within 30 seconds, and it also has four DIMM slots for up to 16GB of memory, DASH management functionality so IT departments can manage it, and USB port disablement for security.

The SFF model starts at $504, while the M75e Tower starts at $524; each has a 2.8GHz Sempron AM3 processor to start with, Windows 7 Professional (32-bit), 2GB of DDR3 memory, integrated AMD graphics, a 250GB hard drive and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
