BGR has details and images for two upcoming smartphones from RIM that have yet to be announced. First up is the BlackBerry Dakota. This smartphone has a pretty classic design, following in the path of many of RIM’s already popular handsets. The Dakota’s specs set it apart from the rest, however. Here’s a closer look at what the Dakota is rumored to have:
The Dakota is said to be a Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Tri-band UMTS phone, meaning it will likely land at AT&T or T-Mobile, assuming it hits our shoes.
Next up is the Apollo. This smartphone is looking to be the latest version in the Curve family. It won’t be quite as powerful as the Dakota, but it still should attract some users. The reported specs include:
Neither of these smartphones has been announced, so release dates and prices are still unknown. With Mobile World Congress coming up, we are guessing an official word should be coming sooner rather than later, though.
