LG's 4.5" Nitro HD Smartphone Brings More Android, LTE Support To AT&T
What's the perfect thing to shake off those Thanksgiving pounds? A new Android-based smartphone, of course. It's no fat-burner, per se, but LG's Nitro is certainly a scorcher. Announced today for use on AT&T, the Nitro HD is the first smartphone in the carrier's portfolio to boat a "true HD display," as well as being the third AT&T LTE phone. It's sporting a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 4G LTE support, a 4.5" True HD AH-IPS display (1280 X 720) and a chassis that measures in at 5.27" X 2.67" X 0.41".
There's an 8MP camera, 20GB of total memory (4 GB on-board plus 16 GB via In-box microSD), Wi-Fi Direct support, and DLNA. Not surprisingly, it's a pretty pricey phone, available on December 4th for $249.99 after a two-year contract.

Ya know one of the issues I have seen that really gets me is with LTE. Yes I get the point etc but with the files I download from the various android stores I hit are not large. Therefore they all download in seconds and I am on Tmous which does not have LTE. I fact the one thing that ticked me off was when they got rid of the 200 MB data plan I used to have. I never get close to 2Gb but I use it every day. |
