We've got to hand it to them--Jabra has outdone itself here in the
design department. The company's new HALO Bluetooth headset is unlike
any BT headset we've ever seen, with a slick over-the-head design that
looks less like a traditional set of cans and more like some sort of
space-wear. The headphones collapse down for easy transport, and they
can connect to a Bluetooth device that's up to 30 feet away.
The headset weighs just three ounces and is compatible with pretty much
any Bluetooth media player or cellphone out there; it's even able to
sync with two BT devices at once. There's a built in microphone for
speaking when a call comes in, and just in case one does, it
automatically fades the music down in order to let you hear the ring
and choose whether or not to answer. As for battery life, you're
looking at 8 hours of talk time/music time and 13 days in standby,
while a 3.5mm corded option is available for those looking to listen to
music through these in a more standard manner.

Naturally, the device can be controlled via a Bluetooth device, though
the headset itself does boast a small display to showcase battery life,
connectivity status and a touch volume control. Best Buy locations in
North America will begin stocking these soon, making it the first to
market the device in retail stores; it'll set you back $129, but at
least you won't need to carry around two different devices for
making/taking BT calls and listening to music.
