HotHardware's Two and a Half Geeks Special: Corsair "Back to School" System Build

Those Corsair cases are sweet the wire management gate/pull through on the board and everything are just awesome and the have a lot of clear room for airflow.

Woo Boy ! that sure is one very sweet and super clean looking build, That Corsair chassis in the gunmetal grey sure looks awesome and think it would be suitable in a lot of environments, yep those Corsair Mem sticks are definitely some beefy ram modules and no doubt the primo- excellento cable management wiring on the back is an inspiration for any enthusiast.

The mouse, headset, and keyboard are like icing on the cake.

The computer looks awesome ( love the look of the to ram, haven't seen those before).

Now that is sexy! Congrats again JOMA. That new gunmetal color is very slick. I have to say if you were to buy anything, you should buy one of the nzxt sleeved cable extensions for the 24 pin connector. Great work Marco!

Slightly overshadowed by today's announcement for a new contest, but to me this is the best part of following HH. Can't criticize the build, so I'll say something about the video: Well worth the wait, but I would have added a hold and zoom at 5:31 because that's really where my mind got blown... *bows*

"somewhat of a challenge to make the cables look neat"??? and "what the heck are we going to do with all that"? Haha, Ya right Marco, you are the KING at clean cable management. I'm hoping you will post a video of how you manage to do it EVERY time, no matter what kind of case you are working with. I know with my mild ocd I'll need a vid to follow when and if I ever get to do my first build! I'll want my cables nice and tight like yours for sure. (ok that sounded wrong LOL)

Sure like the  way that back wiring turned out..  a prime example of taking a lot of attention to details and taking the time and care to do so.

Well the system has arrived. It was a painful process waiting for UPS but they finally made it here. Took a few pics of the epic, epic loot.

Thanks so much to Corsair for all the gear, HotHardware for the contest and Marco for all the work he did on this impressive build. It's simply amazing.
