Very nice run down of the week Dave and Marco. What dave says about the iPad is right on. Either way good outline of the week.

That was a nice break down of current news and things to come. Is this gonna be a weekly thing?

Yes, the plan is to do it weekly. This is actually the 7th show--we just took a few weeks off due to all of the craziness surrounding CES. If you hit the news archive link, you can search for past shows.

It's _so_ weird to hear "soon" and 2010 in the same sentence. Arthur C. Clarke and Phillip K. *** must be spinning in their graves at our technological stagnation.

HAHA...I was just doing the same thing. With the higher-end CPU and 4GB of RAM, it's still only $969. I'm soooo getting one. Going to throw one of the SSDs I have laying around the lab in it though.

I added the core 2 duo, 4gb ram and 500gb hdd for a total of 1099 but i don't got the money to buy it now :( lol

Stop it. Now you guys have me wanting a M11X too. :)

I know the feeling Inspector, what a nice package basically an ultraportable with some teeth. The CPU speed is so low though I wonder how it works, I have not had a processor as low as this one in quite some time. Of course I guess you could replace it then what about cooling though might make a toaster oven out of it.

Well 3vi1 I don't see anything that can beat it for sure not in this pakage with said accoutrement (namely that GPU), you can flip out a processor even change memory in a laptop. The GPU is a different story, it can be done I have done it. However; at this form factor you would be hard pressed to find a body and component that could do it in anything else. Then at this price why would you even want to. That processor though thats low the only thing lower is one, and changing it up as I said before you might be able to make toaster strudel on it pretty easy.

dave went on an iRant

I did NOT. I simply pointed out where it was misguided. :D
