I'm a bit disappointed in that review of the GT 240. The ran all of the benchmarks on Linux, and had poor driver compatibility. The GT 220 was performing better :-\

The GT 220 was performing better than the GT 240?

I checked the Phonorix review and you're right! But they indicated that it's most likely a driver problem or they were given a defective card. The ECS card comes with a nice heatsink as well (the GT 240 was running much cooler than the other cards), it's a shame that the review went awry.

Yea, I noticed the temps too... it was running at half what the other cards were which makes me think maybe it was under clocked.

Eitherway... they should have further investigated or installed it into a Windows machine to get a legit review of the card. They did mention Nvidia's Coolbits not working. That's Nvidia's overclocking utility, so the card being underclocked is the most likely scenario
