sometimes it feels that nothing is leaked by accident. leaking something is the best way to generate hype. It would have cooler if they pulled an Apple move.... "Accidentally leave this mysterious device, just so that it happens to be near a writer/ tech-savvy person" and then let the flow of events generate the hype. |

I have looked over this one it is pretty impressive. I think I like that it is a WebOS device almost the best of all. As far as it goes I was kind of disappointed in HP with the last devices they released. I personally don't have a lot of experience with WebOS, but have heard wonders about it, and would be interested in checking it out for sure. This one looks interesting, but as far as the iPad being good for feminine hygiene in the future it will be just like it's largest competitor Tampax, and surrounded on both sides by competing items. The one thing I really love about all these smart phones, slates, tablets is they have different os's all over the place, and many of them are even open source to one degree or another. Just like the AMD/Intel thing competition is good all the way around for consumers. So M$ will have to step up and innovate or step to the curb. I know they have some platforms pretty much such as business. If consumers choose another platform on the mobile space though the business's will eventually be forced to offer more support of differing OS implementations. With this it also leads to the market leader doing more work towards innovation across the board to remain relevant. |
