This makes for a good read. One wonders what they'll be up to next. |

I don't know really. This is of course a lot like IBM did back in the day etc. The thing is the space IBM went into at that time was nowhere near as crowded as it is today. Not to mention the ones who have been there for years have a lot of bricks in there wall if you get my drift. Where consumers will change providers on a whim corporations and especially big data houses etc do not generally move like that at all. So I think Rahul may have more insight on this one than many at HP, of course I have nowhere near the experience of there current CEO, and this is supposedly his bread and butter. So we will see I guess, I for one am thinking either they will make an about face, or divide HP into separate entities, or of course this could also be a very early death toll who knows. I for one with the points I have made will go for that latter one personally they seem to be shooting themselves in the foot while in a rabid wolves den! Of course they are about as Mammoth as you can get as well so it will be a very long march and change can come at any times with the resources they have as well. |

Sounds like a classic way to drive a company into the ground. |

I used to recommend the HP brand of laptops to friends and family. Now I find myself recommending ASUS machine much more often. |
If you hear a knock on your door this afternoon, Don't answer it! Because after that comment, Steve Jobs is sending the "A" Adjustment Bureau over to your place to ~correct ~ your thinking! |
