I appreciate the thought, but I never was able to get the expired demo to work - so I'm going to pass.

Your choice 3vi1, but we are also willing to help folks get setup with a copy of the full game, which will be required to play.

Also, I think you're just having an issue with the demo expiring. If you set your system calendar date back, it should work.

Even if I got it working, I've got an old man's reflexes, one good eye, never owned any of the Quake or Unreal games (FPS + me usually equals motion sickness), and have no motherboard that would be compatible with the 4th runner-up prize. Heheh...  

So, let someone else have my spot.

This is going to make me sick but I going to have to forfiet my chance! I havent play games since I had brain surgery but my cognitive thinking skill and reflexes are non existant  now! I dont have the ability to focus on things. Dave Im not sure if this is fesable or just a stupid question! Is their any way other forum members to waych the game as its played out or keep track of the players while their in play! I really want to play with you guys and I'm really excited to say I'm getting a Core i7 rig next week !!!! I managed to raise around $1770NZ ($885US approx.) to complete my build with help from family and selling stuff (including the 4830 =[ ). When I get it I'll be on the server for sure if I can get the game, but I won't be here on the 29th for the actual shootout . I can't wait and I'll post up a new thread with loads of pics when I get it. I already picked up the new LG 22" Full HD 16:9 monitor and my Logitech 5.1 Channel speakers and they look awesome on this comp, so I wonder what they'll look like on the new rig!! Dave, vent=ventrillo.  It allows people to talk to eachother, I thought it would be interesting to do, but who knows if anyone else would want to do that.

I have a vent server we can use. It is my TF2 clans server. It is not a solid solution, but if a few of us are ingame we can use it for a evening as long as we don't have a TWL match going on.

Can't find the UT3 server in the browser. IDK if it is online right now though.

My first game in UT3. My team lost, but I did good. I guess those 75 hours of sniper in TF2 have helped me out.

Hey Bob, I could only find the server if I had deathmatch as the game it was searching for.  BTW, nice score...I'm still trying to get used to jumping and shooting.

Mental's got a good idea there. A Ventrillo or TeamSpeak server would help you guys coordinate a lot better.

I used to use TeamSpeak a lot back in my EQ days, because "LOTAGBFDBY!" makes a lot less sense than just saying "look out, there's a great big dragon behind you!".

I don't think it's necessary either...but I've found some games to be fun to just talk while playing.  Then again I never did it for an fps before (just got a headset.) 

I was wondering where you ran off to.  Well maybe we'll all play over the weekend or something.  I'm pretty busy during the day and parts of the night because I have a review coming up on tuesday for my Architecture studio.
