Google has been under fire from a few different news organizations recently, as they claim Google violates Copyright laws with its Google News service. Google has struck a payment deal with the Associated Press, though details have yet to be disclosed. Agence France Presse, a French news agency, is still seeking $17.5 million through their suit, and hope Google's decision to pay the Associated Press will work in their favor.
