That's truly surprising it took Google this long (8 years now?) to get on the ball, but do gift cards for virtual currency really make that big of a difference? |
|
it is weird that it took Google this long to catch up, Normally they are right up there with all competition. Having gift cards could definitely up the sales in their stores |
|
I don't think I've ever used virtual currency that wasn't a gift or freebie, but, this is still good for Google to get on board and, good for Android on the whole. |

I agree on the weirdness of this but really it makes little sense except for as a gift. When you buy something on Googleplay it is billed to your phone and I would bet for a lower priceline than anything gotten with one of these cards.. |

Yes, most see this as only useful for gift cards, but there are some out there(like me) that have been waiting for this. I don't have the ability/option to have something billed to my phone due to being prepay.(Have been on same plan for so long, that it's cheaper than signing a contract with less benefits) Would be nice to have one of these on hand, for when an app/game I want comes along. |

Finally. |

We've been waiting too long for these gift cards... I hope they'll spread like iTunes Cards do!
