Akiba has posted some preliminary information and pictures of a new Gigabyte Yonah MicroATX motherboard that is now available overseas. This new motherboard yses Intel's 845GT chipset to support the new Yonah Core-Duo processor and features some innovative additions that will likely capture the interest of any HTPC enthusiast. From the standardized Socket 478 heatsink mounts to the full PCI-Express x16 slot and 8-channel HD audio, this new motherboard looks to be the ideal platform for building an extremely fast and quiet system for the living room. Unfortunately, there's no word on cost thus far.
