Get Hands On with Asus' Transformer Prime at GameStop This Weekend

Looking for something to do this weekend? You could watch the New England Patriots decimate the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in a watered down rivalry that won't feature Peyton Manning falling to the fetal position at the first sound of footsteps coming through his offensive line. Or you could watch the new Muppets movie. Just make sure to carve out some time to head into GameStop and play with the Eee Pad Transformer Prime from Asus!

We've already spent some hands on time with the Transformer Prime, which you can read all about in our preview here. Asus has a winner on its hands, and you can see for yourself this weekend as GameStop gets a jump on the competition and becomes the first to offer access to the device.

"The next generation of Android tablets make their debut this holiday season and GameStop is providing the first opportunity to get hands-on with the new quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. Select stores nationwide will have the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, the first tablet to use the new Tegra 3 chip, available for demo beginning this weekend," GameStop said in a statement.

If you do happen to mosey on by and play with on in person, be sure to come back and tell us what you think about it in the comments section below.

Neat, now someone who lives very close to a GameStop and loves the Transformer prime can get a taste of that succulent goodness that is the 'Transformer Prime".

However... I don't seem to have a GameStop that even sells tablets near me, oh well... Guess I'll have to keep dreaming...

Odd I have never seen a tablet in any of the GameStop stores around CT. Is this some new product push for them. No matter what some regular folks are going to get to play with what is destined to be one of the hottest tablets this weekend. That is simply awesome!

Being that i work in a mall with a gamestop, i might go check it out this weekend. Its going to be the tablet of the year imo.

Hopefully they have the dock there as well. It would be nice to get a feel for both before buying.

I actually dislike tablets greatly, except the transformer. I cant stand not having a keyboard.
