Fujifilm Reveals X20 And X100S Retro-Style Cameras At CES 2013
Fujifilm has been producing retro-like rangefinder cameras for the past few years now, and if you appreciate style, you'll be hard-pressed to find a device that shines quite like the X series. At this year's CES, two new ones are being revealed: the X20 and the X100s. Starting with the latter, that one is the follow-up to the X100, and it includes the world's fastest autofocus at 0.08 seconds. There's also a FUJINON 23mm f/2 prime lens, a 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor, a hybrid viewfinder and a Digital Split Image display. It's an advanced way of seeing thing through the lens, placing dual images on the left and right which should help with manually focusing.
The lower-end X20 follows the lead of the X10, offering a 12MP 2/3-inch X-Trans CMOS II sensor, a newly designed optical viewfinder, an f/2-2.8 4x manual barrel zoom lens, and 1080p HD video shooting at 60fps. The company isn't coming clean with pricing or a release date, but no doubt you'll be asked to pay a premium for the flair.
