I really believed, the content in your flash media is a direct copy from a physical HDD and I have mine on RAID5. What should I use these for?

The BD Burner is eight hundred dollars. YOW!! YIKES!!

The one featured here is three hundred and sixty dollars!

Other solutions cost less and are much faster than these are, so I'm gonna have to remain unimpressed.

i guess you pay for the convenience of not needing a computer to do the backup. You plug in the flash media and it backs up for you. Could be handy if you were on a trip and wanted to re-use a media card in your camera but didn't want to pack a computer with you. Other than that.. I can think of any real good use.
