Dell's M3800 Precision Workstation Laptop Packs Major Speed In a Light Package

The words "mobile" and "workstation" don't always work together seamlessly, but Dell is trying hard to make the marriage work with a new Precision laptop. The M3800 Workstation promises "huge power" in a slim design, enabling creative professionals to "create at the speed of light." The rig measures 18mm thick and starts at 4.5lbs., boasting NVIDIA Quadro graphics and a fourth-generation Intel Core i7 processor.

Moreover, there's a hugely dense QHD+ (3,200 x 1,800) native display resolution (complete with multi-touch support), a chassis that holds a 1TB hard drive or a 512GB SSD, and support for up to 15GB of memory. Dell's being silent on pricing and further details, but this is definitely one to watch if you never can seem to get enough power in your mobile machine.
