CyberPower Launches New Gaming Desktops with GeForce GTX 590

It didn't take long for the system builders over at CyberPower PC to pounce on Nvidia's brand new dual-GPU GeForce GTX 590. This is the card gaming enthusiasts have been waiting for, the one Nvidia touts as the "fastest graphics card on the planet" (be sure to read our in-depth review of the GTX 590, in which we put that claim to the test), so naturally CyberPower PC saw fit to design a new series of high-end desktops around Nvidia's flagship GPU.

Perhaps the coolest thing about this announcement is the cost of entry. CyberPower says you can step up to a GeForce GTX 590 equipped rig starting at $1,500, but we were able to configure one for even less. The Gamer Xtreme 1000, for example, costs $1,240 with a GTX 590 and includes:
  • Raidmax Blade mid-tower case
  • Intel Core i3 2100
  • XtremeGear liquid cooling
  • MSI H61M-P23
  • 4GB of DDR3-1333
  • 1TB hard drive
  • 24X DVD Reader
  • Keyboard and mouse
  • 700W PSU
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
We can already spot a couple areas we'd like to upgrade, but still, it's entirely possible to spec out a gaming rig with Nvidia's flagship GPU for less than $2,000. Well played, CyberPower.

I got my first gaming laptop from Alienware, which got so hot I used it as a heater during the Winter months, after that I researched and expanded my PC gaming knowledge. I got a gaming desktop from Cyberpower and I am still very pleased with the purchase.

I really like that cyber power uses some name brands in their builds so you actually know what you are getting and their prices see fair for what you get. I would definitely spend a few extra bucks on the mobo and processor of your build!!!!

My first real gaming PC was from CyberPower. As far as the build goes I didn't have any issues. After 2 years the Asus system board crapped out and had to be replaced, but you can't really blame CP for that. They seem like a solid company and their builds are very neat and professional from what I have seen.

Really pushing for power with the GTX 590 there, I may be more toward ATI but I admit NVidia knows what they are doing and CyberPower always makes perfect systems when they have power like the GTX 590.

I like to sometime indulge my geek porn fantasies on the CyberPower config pages with a bit of slicing and dicing on a dream rig and a modest affordable practical build .yep going to stop by take look and get my fix.time well spent to look into this one.

Nice setup, I also like the fact that from what they say all there systems are now liquid cooled. I am sure it is one of the contained liquid cooling solutions, but still as a default cooling schematic that is great. As far as it goes I do the same thing rrplay :)
