Verizon seems to be pooling a big portion of the spectrum. I wonder what this will do for their wireless network |
|
Cox is a fairly obsure wireless company so there is no legitment excuse for accruing them except for their spectrum, sothis is a very acurate aricle. Verixon wont improve much they will jus broaden their range there actual service won't improve. |

Verizon may have a hard time pushing this sale through, we will see. Verizon is already sitting on a bunch of spectrum it isnt using. The Gov needs to have a "use it or lose it" policy with spectrum. ATT and Verizon like to buy spectrum up and hog it so no one else can have it. |
I have to agree. At least sell it to T-Mobile or Sprint so they can have some improved coverage of their own... |

Perhaps had Cox not priced themselves out of the market they wouldn't have to sell to Verizon. I remember getting the mailings from Cox and just shaking my head. $70 a month less taxes and fees. So add those in and you're at $90 a month. Meanwhile I get my service for $50 a month, that's including the taxes and fees and gives me 4G service for UNLIMITED voice, text and net access. |

Verizon reminds me of the Yankees. They buy up spectrum so the Red Sox (err... AT&T) can't. |
