Corsair Flash Voyager Soars to USB 3.0

This is something I have been wondering now that we are hearing a lot about Intel's new transfer method being in the Apple laptop refresh models. I know there are some thing available in USB 3, it just seems that the new Intel interface method is getting an awful lot of attention, where as USB 3 gets much less. The fact that it (USB 3) has been out for a while where the Intel spec just popped up a couple of days ago is a consideration in this.

On top of that USB 3 has power implications that are very useful, not to mention abilities that the Intel spec does not seem to have, but the Intel spec is more talked about than something that has existed for quite some time now.

Oh and those prices are nice as well on this specific item!

So i think usb 3 is gonna be ubiquitous, and t/bolt is going to be for the upper segment for the market? just a speculation. t/bolt, after reading even more and more about it, its in a class of its own. its like comparing wireless a to wireless n.... miles apart.

Exactly that is one of the things I was talking about, not to mention USB is screaming fast as well as what I imagine will be a much wider accepted standard interface.

ive been looking at these for a while but this is the first one that i can afford

these are the same prices as the 2.0 in the stores now

Love my 2GB Corsair Voyager I have had for 4 years.

Lot's of people complain about losing the rubber cap but I had no such problem.

Might have to pick one of these up.
