Comcast's Management A Comcastrophe?
It appears that disgruntled consumers and consumer rights groups aren't the only ones upset with Comcast:
“Describing Comcast's management and board supervision as a "Comcastrophe" _ playing off its advertising tagline of "Comcastic" _ Chieftain Capital Management Inc. in New York wants better shareholder returns from the cable company.”
Chieftan owns approximately 2% of Comcast, or about 60.5 million shares. Chieftan has been attempting to get Comcast to change their focus from growth to shareholder return for some time now, and is apparently frustrated with the lack of results.
