'CNBC Titans' to Profile Steve Jobs on Season Premiere Tonight

"CNBC Titans" kick offs its new season this Thursday at 9 p.m. with an unauthorized look at what the program calls the undisputed king of Silicon Valley: Apple CEO Steve Jobs.

"Titans," CNBC says, "profiles remarkable people who made careers turning the 'unthinkable' into reality and companies that grew from humble roots to worldwide recognition."

According to the site, "CNBC Titans" has previously profiled people like George Foreman, Donald Trump, Ted Turner, Hugh Hefner and Merv Griffin. Right now, CNBC has a preview website up. There, people can view exclusive Web extras and previews.

Ironically, while this is an unauthorized TV look at Jobs, and several unauthorized print biographies of him have been written, the first authorized biography of Steve Jobs, iSteve: the Story of Jobs, is set to launch on March 6, 2012.
