They make quality laptops so this is good for both of them good products for BB, good placement for Lenovo/IBM |
^except Lenovo is no longer owned by IBM...
Lenovo was never owned by IBM. Totally different company\ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenovo |
Mwa ha ha, more opportunities for Best Buy to rip you off. |
Go Lenovo, hopefully this will give them a better chance to become a bigger player in the consumer laptop market. Most people have never heard of Lenovo. IBM sold their laptop division to Lenovo. @ Rkhona "Lenovo acquired the former IBM PC Company Division, which marketed the ThinkPad line of notebook PCs, in 2005 for approximately $1.75 billion." So their is some history regarding IBM and Lenovo but yes they are completely different companies. |

i worked for a year at best buy and we only had one lenovo laptop and we did get one desktop. They make good computers, only thing is people only know the "name brand" computers, dell and hp. These companies need to advertise way more to get the word out. |
I am not a fan of anything from best buy, they sell everything for what seems like a 25% markup (e.g. Hdmi Cables, and computer components Like RAM and GPU's) compared to other stores and online retailers so Dammonritter really hit the nail on the head when he said this is just another opportunity for Best Buy to rip you off |
^its the only way they can make money and have someone who actually knows something be able to talk to you. The make nothing on a "naked" computer sale. I should know I worked there for 1.5 years, I hated it to no end.... |
