Hey folks, I'm here to start off the new week with more news. GamePC Labs has sent us their review of the Radeon X850 XT PE, so if your interested, make sure to check out Marco's article on the same product. Read on and enjoy!

Abit AG8 915P Motherboard Review @ PC Perspective

"Overclocking aside, the ABIT AG8 is a top performer. It is slightly faster than the Chaintech V915P even though the two boards use the same chipset and RAM, and are identically configured. Somewhere ABIT has done some engineering to this motherboard that has given it a kick in performance. Compared to the more expensive 915P using DDR2, it performs essentially the same."

Beginners Guides: Linux Part 1: Getting Familiar @ PCstats

"In this first part of PCstats two-part guide to basic Linux use and installation, we aim to familiarize you with using Linux for everyday computing purposes by means of the most popular Linux desktop environment, KDE. Since we realize that many users will not be willing to take the plunge and install Linux onto their systems to test it, we will use a 'live CD' Linux distribution, which can run entirely off a single CD."

ATI Radeon X850 XT Platinum Edition @ GamePC Labs

"Today at GamePC, we have ATI's top of the line Radeon X850 XT Platinum Edition graphics card in the labs. Now shipping to market, the X850 XT PT presents itself as a compelling option to nVidia's GeForce 6800 Ultra PCIe series of graphics cards. We run a heap load of benchmarks, in addition to testing the card's thermals, overclockability, and power consumption level."

Albatron K8 Ultra-U Pro A64 S754 Motherboard Review @ Madshrimps

"Albatron recently introduced a new S754 motherboard, based on the lesser known ULi chipset, it comes feature packed and offers some overclocking potential. Can this budget friendly board stand up to the competition? Read on to find out."

BTX-ish ATX case reviewed @ Dan's Data

"SilverStone's TJ06 is one of those ATX/BTX hybrid cases, with a flipped motherboard and other stuff in weird places. But it goes further, adding a semi-ducted CPU cooling system which looks likely to actually work. While we all wait for Intel to get the big half of the wishbone and make people actually care about genuine BTX, cases like this one are an excellent stopgap."
