Barnes & Noble Stores Becoming "Magic Places" For Angry Birds Users

Angry Birds definitely took the world by storm and it is a really fun game. Good for a quick play to try and take out some of those blasted piggies.  A pretty good marketing scheme but I won't go out of my way just for an extra character.

Very interesting approach of B&N to take. I am sure they will be successful at getting people into their stores but I wonder how much extra revenue they expect to get from the people hanging out there.

It's fun for about 2 minutes. I personally don't like the Angry Birds' games and see this as just another brilliant marketing over hype. If it wasn't for all the hype, they wouldn't have been this successful.

There are a ton of great apps out there in which the creators don't have the money to hype their product so they aren't getting noticed, let alone downloaded. The marketing team definitely did a wonderful job getting this app "out there". Good for them, it obviously was a successful investment!

However, I bet a good percentage of downloaders played for 5mins max and haven't touched it since lol.

But that's just my opinion :s

it's a great idea for folks to grab some java,juice ,muffin, free Mighty Eagle gameplay with the potential of 'how I met your mother" scenarios :) lol

this actually makes me want to stop in to B&N to grab some java & peeps watch' just to see...should I entertain the thought again when passing a B&N location.

lol wow, it sure is spreading and the creator is one either smart or lucky dude to have came up with the idea. Just wish it was me, be getting rich fast now :P

I've never gotten it, Angry Birds isn't even an original game Crush the Castle anyone.

I dont like angry birds, but if angery birds can run on the nook imagine what else can be ran on it. Pretty much a low costing tablet, not just a ereader if more apps are put on it. Plus that means amazon is going to have to step up on there game if they want to compete. Companies vs companies = good for consumers

This sounds like a great marketing campaign to me. Smart move on the part of B&N!

Wow, OK man Angry Birds is just cool like that. Wow.

I have to say once I played this game I was hooked. Good PR move by B&N.
