Averatec D1200 All-In-One PC Doubles As TV
Averatec just got done introducing an all-in-one PC back in March, but just in case that alien-inspired machine doesn't float your boat, the company is debuting a slightly more mainstream unit in the D1200. Described as a PC / TV combo, this rig is ready to play back 1080p material while tuning OTA TV signals (analog and digital) and checking your email.
The machine looks more like an iMac than anything else, though the 25.5-inch LCD makes it suitable for use as a bedroom television. Inside, you'll find a respectable 2.5GHz Intel dual-core E5200 processor, a 320GB hard drive, 4GB of RAM, Microsoft's Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit, an 8x DVD writer, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 2.0-megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet and a bundled remote.
The D1200 is available now for $999.
