Apple Reportedly Accepting iPhone 5 Pre-orders Starting September 12th
Un-named sources provided Apple fan site iMore with the above dates, and purportedly those sources "have provided iMore with accurate iPhone related launch dates in the past," so make of that what you will (in other words, don't bet the farm, but free free to gamble a dozen eggs or something).
iPhone pre-orders haven't always occurred on the same day Apple holds a press event, but with Samsung's Galaxy S III off to a fast start, it wouldn't be surprising for Apple to push its next generation smartphone out the door as quick as possible. There's been a ton of hype surrounding the iPhone 5, which is expected to introduce a larger size touchscreen than what's been found any previous iPhone model. It's also likely the new iPhone model will boast a 4G LTE radio, a feature that's sorely missing in the iPhone 4S.

I winder what it will do to the numbers for it iPhone 5 that no one will have seen any pre-info on it. If I remember right there was a pretty good contingent of Apple users who were not all that happy with the 4S as yes it was an upgrade but not as huge as the 3-4 jump by any means. |

I'm surprised they aren't preselling them now. It seems that some people HAVE to have the newest iPhone, regardless of specs and appearances. Don't get me wrong, I love my iPhone, but it just seems like most iPhone owners are lemmings just waiting for the next cliff to jump. |

There will be a decline in sales since the s3 came out first. And i dont think specs wise that it can compete with the s3. Good luck apple fanbois. PC>Apple. |

I'm going to wait until the iPhone 5 fully comes out until I jump on either it or the Galaxy S3. Do I join the iOS bandwagon or Android? Hm.. |
