The term "explode" used by marketeers is always a red flag; it means "this thing is going to tank, and I need to sell my interest in it to some gullible suckers ASAP!." I do agree that iOS has peaked and their market share will shrink; but as the market size grows larger, the total dollars involved will likely remain stable for Apple. |

Talking about 2016 market share for Windows Phone 7 is like talking about 2013 stock prices for Enron. Windows 8 will appear on phones and totally tank any Win Phone 7 sales, no matter what MS said. Also, there's a very good chance that many of the apps won't be compatible - given Microsoft's changing commitment to .NET and SilverLight vs. native apps. Sidenote: 5.2% is extremely optimistic. MS has only 1.9% for the first quarter, suffering year-over-year decline even though smart-phone adoption is through the roof. Unless there's something brain damaging in the city water supply, I'm not sure how that can be true. |

iOS and Android are really *** ugly and slow. I just wish Windows Phone had more capabilities. |
