Alienware Launches SLI Notebooks

Alienware has just announced two new mobile platforms that feature NVIDIA SLI technology. The Aurora m9700 is a 17" system that includes an AMD Turion 64 mobile processor and two GeForce Go 7900 GS graphics cards. The new flagship Aurora mALX system is a 19" monster also using the new AMD Turion 64 processor though it is fitted with two GeForce Go 7900 GTX GPU's. Per usual, prepare to be picking your jaw off the floor when you see the price as it comes in at a cool $4500 in the default configuration.  Fortunately for most, the base price of the Aurora m9700 is "only" $1999.
