Intuitive Multi-Touch Display

Oh yes, these are beautiful. Underpowered, but beautiful! Big screen, slim size, touchscreen. Only minor reservation I have about this is that it's an Acer. |

As long as people are going to pay $900 for a computer with a $70 CPU and about $400 worth of other parts, I don't see this all-in-one fad stopping. It's a shame so many of these perfectly fine LCD's are probably going to be leaking mercury into landfills in three years when the computer's totally obsolete. :( |

Not to mention Nitrogen Trifluoride used in LCD manufacturing, which is a greenhouse gas. This will sell. Presentation is everything and consumers will buy it because it's pretty. The Tech-Masters at Best Buy will tell them how fast and future proof it is and sell them printers, DSL modems, Wireless Routers, Cameras, and all of the other BS that they don't need. Just because we can see it for what it really is doesn't mean that Joe Public will. |

And of course they'll charge $100 to install an anti-virus on it as well. More people need to read tech sites such as HotHardware, Techgage, Legitreviews and save themselves lots of headache and money. Still though, as far as All-in-One Desktops go, you could do a lot worse. |
