Processor is a bit on the slow side, doesn't match up too well with the AMD Radeon HD 62050 graphics

I know this is somewhat unrelated to ACER here or any other singular manufacturer of tablet devices. The impact AMD seems to be having on this market looks to be substantial to me. Intel really needs to step up here it seems to me. I am glad AMD is having the impact they are or seemingly will in the near future here, but INTEL seems in many cases on mobile devices to have dropped the ball. So does Microsoft in a lot of cases even though they are on this device there aim does not seem to be focused to me either.

Much like I was told and posted on here Microsoft is focusing on the professional side of the market. It would seem to me most professionals would have much of this covered already and not necessarily need or want one of these. Then the general market these devices are more of a media device as well as an internet instant type device. That largely for sustained usage requires more battery life and or sipping of energy by the processing and memory standards used in it.

Where this device using the AMD components as well as higher memory specs is cool it runs for four hours. Much of this is because of the hyper activity of windows 7. Windows 7 needs to be plugged into a wall in many if not most locations and uses because Microsoft has so far refused to innovate and use a slimmed down OS version. It does not make any sense really as they have had CE for years, but basically have not updated it to current standards.

As far as ACER goes this is a nice looking device. If I wanted a slate and was going to actively use it the BB playbook XOOM or even iPad2 seems better to me. That is largely because WIN7 is a dull computer OS not a slimmed down more efficient one to be run on a mobile device.
