AT&T To Stock Galaxy Note 8.0 Android Tablet In The Coming Weeks

What amounts to the world's largest phone in overseas nations, where the Galaxy Note 8.0 has a voice-capable radio, is coming to the United States. The big difference? When it soon lands on AT&T, it won't be able to make voice calls. That said, it'll have a 3G + LTE radio for data, much like the iPad and other rival tablets have.

The Note 8.0 that hits AT&T will run Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), and will be powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core CPU and a 4,600mAh battery. There's also a 1080p display, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 5MP rear camera, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD slot, and a gratis 50GB AT&T Locker for keeping precious files up in the cloud.

Oddly, the carrier isn't talking pricing, so you'll have to wait until it hits store shelves "in the coming weeks" to find out what it'll cost you.
