I like that they cut away about 1/4 of the northbridge heatsink to make way for expansion cards. I've seen some motherboards where the first expansion slot, usually a PCI-E x1, will be rendered useless by an oversized chipset cooling solution. |

Hybrid SLI or in AMD's case Hybrid Crossfire is the only way to go for mGPU's. Since graphics cards become outdated so quickly it is nice to know your mGPU won't just be dead wait once you have to add a graphics card. The biggest problem I see with this motherboard is that it is for an AMD chipset. I am eager to see the new IGPs for Intel's platform that support Hybrid SLI, which should be out soon. |
