Can I use the AMD Athlon II X2 245/240 processors on my existing motherboard?

My motherboard is:

MSI K9N SLI-2F(nVIDIA MCP55 chipset)

SOCKET IS: AM2

Probably not, unless MSI adds support for the new chips via a BIOS update. Even then, because the mobo is not AM2+ compatible, the HT link speeds would be reduced.
