8in1 Card Readers, Quiet PSUs, Digicam from HP, Tweak your BIOS

Good morning and happy Friday to all.  Today starts off Memorial Day weekend here in the states.  For starters that automatically means a three day weekend and a boatload of traffic on the highways.  It also is a sign that summer is rapidly approaching.  Traditionally this is a time of year where families get together, barbeque and enjoy some cold beverages.  But most of all, we take the time to remember the men and women who served this great country by giving their lives in battle.  Something we should never forget, especially today when we have troops doing their job in both Iraq and Afghanistan.  Here's you news...

Vantec Go 2.0 8in1 Card Reader Review @ GideonTech.com:

"Instead of transferring those vacation photos from the slow camera, throw your memory card into this USB 2.0 card reader. Zip through not only compact flash, but smart media, memory sticks, mega drives and other formats for a total of 8 types supported. Oh, there's also the wonderful addition of 3 extra USB 2.0 ports."

QTechnology QT 02350G PSU Review @ Creative Mods:

"Today I reviewed a PSU from QTechnology called the Ultra Quiet PSU QT 02350G. QTechnology is a company that manufactures products that run very quietly. Here is an excerpt from their Website: "As the developer of the "ULTRA QUIET" power supply series. QTechnology, The Ultra Quiet power supply™ has made an outstanding name for itself with excellent quality and high performance components. QTechnology, The Ultra Quiet power supply™ offers you an extensive range of extremely quiet high end power supplies. Meet the new generation: The PRO, GOLD and PAPST series." If you are in the market for a silent PSU, this review is for you"

Thermaltake Extreme Spirit Chipset Review @ myWORLD Hardware:

"Thermaltake Extreme Spirit is a solid product with much potential. From the results, the Spirit's heatsink itself performs much better compared to the stock heatsink. This is mainly because the heatsink has wider area and more fins to dissipate heat faster. Coupled with an active fan, the Spirit is really a product to be reckoned with. We are looking at about 10°C lost in temperature. This surely provides hardcore users extra room for overclocking their machine."

The FINAL Interim Release of The Definitive BIOS Optimization Guide Rev. 8.0 Posted!:

"If everything goes according to schedule, this will be the FINAL interim release! The next update will finally complete the most comprehensive update of the BIOS Optimization Guide."

Thermalright XP-120 P4 Heatsink - Exclusive Preview @ Systemcooling.com:

"If you want to be competitive in today's heatsink market, there are two "H" words that are fast becoming a must for maximum performance. One is Huge. The other is Heatpipe. Today, we're taking an advance look at a heatsink that has both of the "H" words in spades. The XP-120 is Thermalright's newest heatsink for Intel P4 systems, and looks primed to become the latest in a long line of winners from Thermalright."

HP Photosmart R707 5MP Digital Camera @ Bytesector:

"The new hp photosmart R707 digital camera is sleek, stylish, and metal fronted with a 5.1 megapixel CCD which needless to say is more than enough for a normal picture size. It also has 3x optical zoom and 8x digital zoom. It hosts a wide array of useful technology and provides sufficient aid to help even the most amateur of photographers to take brilliant pictures...."

OK gang, that's it for me.  I'll see you back here next week!
