-FANTABULOUS!

-I dont get it.... the standard vertex 3 performace did better than the pro??? Waaahh, mind blowing!

-Yep, AMD really upped the scale on zacate, outperforming ion and all, that’s great.!

-Thunderbolt… YEAA I’m psyched about using the external features… like portable external gpu card? Oh man, that would be AWESOME!

-Annd Thank you Iyaz for bringing up my question and Dave for answering it! Now the wait begins! Oh maaannnn, I have to wait till Junne!!

-And Marco, ya killin me, Ya killin me, when can we get to see those pics.

-Oo, Iyaz, how are you liking your desktop?

-More like Ethernet LOL. Oh holy gods of Ethernet, help thyself stream some moving pictures across 30 feet of wood and concrete

Oo and voice sync issues were fixed. it sounded as if the voice recording was clarified when each individual person talked! can someone say,... Noice!

Like Iyaz, I'm also a Video Geek, the ThunderBolt interface is going to have a big impact next year, when Video and DSLR Cameras are outfitted with Light-peak connections, meaning no more having to invest in an expensive SDI solution, and at the same time not be limited in resolution, band-with, budget and costly setups.

I would be able to be on location, capture uncompressed video to my Thunderbolt enabled Laptop, and at the same time, make a quick back up to an external HD, saving me time and getting me ahead of schedule in a project. Thumbs Up.

I love that group. Can I be Earth? Earth rocks... Iyaz has to be wind cuz I don't think Marco would be ok with being wind.

Whoa! I'm a giant Italian from New York and you have me biting my pizza from the side with the slice unfolded? Shame on you, Sammy. Shame on you.

Yeah, that's totally unauthentic form there. I'm from Boston and the pie has to be folded and chomped down on from front to back. That side chew stuff looks like some sort of earthy, crunchy, foo-foo California style of consumption. No way maaaan... no way.

Great as always guys, I am used to these by now, always seems to be great coverage. That Vertex 3 standard Vs/ Pro was exactly the first thing I had noticed and commented on when you got the standard benches up. That is absolutely amazing at $249 to me. One of those in a laptop or a desktop would be like adding an easy grand (Cash/performance spectrum) performance wise at least.

As for the AMD news I am very happy to see it looking like the sleeping monster may wake. I am not saying any of the other processor's they've released are nothing, but they were always second class gear. Although on a value build they worked wonders period, you always knew the Intel was going to wipe with them generally. So I am glad to see AMD supposedly coming out the door with some bigger guns, of course we still have to wait and see, but I am glad to hear it's coming. That's also not to mention the Zacate/Fusion chips either they seem to really be firing on all cylinders.

As for The Intel Lightpeak/Thunderbolt equipment and them making a impact on the market I would say it looks like they will. USB3 has been out for a bit now, and while there are boards with USB3 and some peripherals etc it has been slow compared to what I am seeing with Lightpeak. They already seem to have several different hardware producers dropping things to the market. As far as it goes USB3 seems to just now beginning to be a standard on motherboards which of course really makes little sense to me, but is either way the truth.

Well we got a contest ending in I think about an hour which I am anxious to see who wins. This rig looks very nice all the way around kind of like 2n1/2 Geeks does.
