In this episode of Two and A Half Geeks, Iyaz, Dave and Marco take a look at the new LSI WarpDrive PCI Express SSD, discuss HotHardware’s overclocked AMD Radeon HD 6870/6850 round-up, talk about why the CEO of AMD was just sent out behind the woodshed for a whacking and how the HTC HD2 Windows Mobile 6.x-based smartphone was recently hacked to run Windows Phone 7.

OK, send the Warpdrive to me immediately for further long term testing. I'll compare it to one of my RLL drives. Good webcast again. I really like the warpdrive idea even though it's gonna have to be like a geek dream for most of us. 11 thousand bucks is a hefty, lofty, price to pay for something that's 300GB of space. |
It's insanely fast so far, still testing though! It better be fast I guess. :) |
I'll bet,....it's probably a major job perk, eh? |
Well, it's definitely nice to play with the latest toys. It's why we do what we do here for sure, for the love of the tech. However, a product like this is generally maintained in a test environment for future reference testing/numbers etc. |
So there's no "Trickle-Down" effect? Bummer! |
Rofl; I think they should stick the warp drive in the next contest rig, along with the two 6850's Marco tested and some SandyBridge (Open Clock) goodness. I know I am dreaming here, but it is the only chance I figure I might ever be able to personally experience that MEGA SSD. |

Nice Intro... Iyaz always cracks me up !! ..WarpDrive, Warp Speed, Warp Price! I'll be able to afford it in a couple of "Light Years"
Marco @10:10 The Custom Phone ROM, you know, Cooking Comunity, The Chefs that Cook The Roms"....... I guess Marco has an appetite for Roms!! |
He got quit? xD u made me giggle while i was taking a bit out of my sandwich :P |
Iyaz rocks and yeah, Inspector, I've seen more than a few "get quit" in my day... Fairly common occurrence in semiconductors for sure. Fortunately I was never on the other side of the deal on that. |

Ah, i wish this was a podcast. I enjoyed it throughly! would have been if i heard it in the subway while going to school. WTF FTW! |
Cool, we do have a podcast channel... I'll have to dig it up for you. :) |
