AMD To Launch Pricing Campaign
More price cuts are on the way from AMD, covering it's entire product line. Four models of the single-core Athlon 64 line are expected to receive a 20-30% price cut, and later on in July, AMD's Dual-core Athlon 64 series will receive price cuts of 25-50%. Even their Sempron line is getting cheaper.
"AMD will launch a pricing campaign later this month, covering the full range of its product line, in head-to-head rivalry with Intel, which is expected to lower the prices for its processors in July, according to sources with motherboard makers."
