Memories of a Media Card
There is an interesting story on-line over at informit.com. A few years ago they bought some used hard drives on eBay, and explained in an article how much private data they were able to retrieve. They've taken the same premise this time around but have applied it to memory cards.
"Have you ever taken an embarrassing or exposing picture with your digital camera, but then immediately deleted it from the camera before anyone had a chance to see it? Well, we've got some news for you... that picture may still exist - and we might just have it!"
Excuse me for a moment, while I go run my old memory cards though the microwave and paper shredder.
