Corsair Launches Blazing Fast Force Series GS Solid State Drives

Corsair's newly unveiled Force Series GS solid state drives (SSDs) might, however, as they offer the fastest performance to date in Corsair's SandForce-based lineup.

- 180GB: 555MB/s read, 525MB/s write
- 240GB: 555MB/s read, 525MB/s write
- 360GB: 555MB/s read, 530MB/s write
- 480GB: 540MB/s read, 455MB/s write
These are all 2.5-inch form factor drives, and each one ships with a 3.5-inch adapter. The drives are available now for $190 (180GB), $240 (240GB), $350 (340GB), and $490 (480GB).
